I did this long ago for the first A3 that had VC on it.
Sport mode and ... millage change (some say it's impossible …. bulshit ) so im fine with that.
Then there will be recovery info and so...
VC clusters are very fun to work with.

No, it's two different things.

Just patch vc. Dont need remove vc but must mib unit remove and connect to fakra connector.

Really? where did you found it? it will be amazing how many clusters will be damaged

I took apart multiple vc clusters, swapped the nvidia boards, corrupted the eprom checksum, investigated the MCU Secure Hardware Extension (SHE) Chip MB9DF125E which fujitsu says is impossible to modify as it has multiple layers of security... see link https://www.electronicspecifier.com/pro ... t-clusters

I even though of flashing the frf update to another firmware and back in an attempt to reset it but I'm interested in hearing how you did it? and I'm not asking for the total solution, just a minor example of the method used.
