VW mib2 0199 to 1187?

hi guys i have a question


is it possible to switch from version MU0199 (S0259) to MU1187 (K3332) via SWDL (green menu) without incurring any particular problems??

through the normal update the SW train blocks me the update (medium, train is blocked)

I saw on obd11 that whoever has the same hardware as me has arrived at mu1187

my hardware after the recall in VW which updated I don't know what ....

hardware revision 3G0035043K (EX 3G0035043A)
MU 0199
SW train MHI2_ER_VWG11_S0259 (EX K0259)

I am partially aware of this change, although I should better inform myself what to touch in hexadecimal (swdl should still ignore the sw train if you want, but I don't want to risk)


I have 2 problems


the first is that I don't know the root access password (telnet)


the second is that mib2 toolbox does not install,
I have problems with metainfo


.... for the first problem I'm working on it, if the password of the s0259 is the same as that of the 'old' k0259 I asked a site to decrypt the hash (always if someone doesn't pass it to me: P) ... if it has been changed then I don't know how to find the hash without using mib2 toolbox or updating to a firmware with a known password

for the second problem I have to hope that someone will solve it ... unfortunately the metainfo are variable and it is difficult to build a product for everyone when the firmware is really a lot

do you have any different solution in mind?

why would you need the password for the old firmware?

I only store passwords for newest firmwares.

I could try vcp for the eeprom modification, but I didn't understand how to use its hexadecimal reader ..... it always gives me login problems. furthermore, I would have liked to have had the possibility to make a backup of the 5f unit first and without password it is impossible


I don't have firmware to install right now from which to recover the password except 1187 ....

You cant edit MIB2 eeprom via VCP.
You can read it with some cheap programmer.It is near V850 MCU.

vcp allows on MMI 3G systems, but not on MIB
