this is a great mod. I am really hoping to get it working. Unfortunately I have the same issues as spinmar had, but even after running the script to install resolv.conf

any further help you can provide would be appreciated. I've posted the exact details of my setup here

but I have big request to you guys - can someone who has map 8R0060884AH ECE 5.13.8 prepare route to warsaw poland and check can see traffic online in poland or not?


I have license - see green, yellow and red roads in germany france austria even in czech republic but not in poland


I dont know is it related with my map (2012) or with FW - I have old version K485_18 already


BTW if I want to move from K485 to 770 can I upgrade it directly to 770 or need to install v 518 then 612, 614 before?

Кто может подсказать и куда рыть. На картах 2012 года онлайн работал. Переписали еепром блока 5F от другой головы, поправили секцию только с СР и получилось, что серийник чужой, онлайн перестал работать. Я изменил серийник на родной, но онлайн все равно не работает. Есть какие мысли?

Hi, i have 3G+ without sim 4L2 035 666.
In order to organize on-line, thanks to all, i bought RJ45-USB (GEMBIRD NIC-U1), Wi-Fi Router (TP-Link 3040), and cable AMI-USB.

Firstly, i did all the settings in Hidden Green Menu according to this post and Q5 Club. But i did not up DNS by script as i've been notified by DUK63 that 3G+ has already with DNS.

My problem is that MMI do not see GEMBIRD NIC-U1 (RJ45 - USB) adapter, probably... When i connect this device to computer the LED on the device is ON, when i connect it to AMI cable there is NO any light!

BUT in Green Menu i can see that the MMI detected the device!
Could you please let me know if you have any idea to solve it?

Also, what does the following menu can switch on?

I saw that commercial AMI On-line box can be connected to MMI by Wi-Fi. How to do it? I have activated W-Fi on MMI but there is no any setting to write IP manually, or to find any neightbor wi-fi...

Your problem is that GEMBIRD is not detected by mmi.
Other people had this kind of problem with GEMBIRD and they solved it changing usb->lan adapter.
About resolv.conf I see that it is undefined: after changing adapter if you have problem to connect to internet try to change it.

you could see on pictures that MMI is detecting GEMBIRD, it is mentioned as ASIX elec. AX88x72A. 1st photo.

Do i need to run DNS script?

Anyway other persons used succesfully also trendnet TU2-ET100 (white one with rev 4).

You`ve got new car. Unfortunately it looks like Audi has bloked your VIN (you`ve got mmi with no sim) according to new Audi rules... If you want to see an official screen that your licence has rejected, push activate (or get licence, i don`t know how it indicated in English) then in 0,5 sec push Back, then again push Activate and continue round in circles from 8 to... times. Then probably you will see the rejected screen ... it was posted yesterday on audi-club.ru by r_Q7
