unit 3g+ faulty?

Last week I buyed a 3g+ unit (8R1035666) from poland.
Today I tried to connect it: I replaced my 8T1 unit with the new one and I inserted also the new console.
I attached the quadrblock, fiber, sat antenna and monitor.
Nothing appeared to monitor: I can hear the fan but no image on monitor and no sound.
I attached the vag cable and tried to connect to 5f but I got cannot be reached.
How can I know more about the unit faulty?
Is there something more I can try to do?

I think you have bought damage headunit , but :
1 after connect all connectors and optical jack - turn on key to start car
when you replace 3g to 3g plus - the keyboard is not working (you need to replace keyboard from 3g plus too) And when ignition on than headunit mast to start
2 just check that main connector inserted full

I tried again. The connectors are inserted well but nothing starts. I was wrong: the fan doesn't start.
The power line should be in the main connector.
If I insert my old unit this starts automatically.
Should be possible repair it?
Who can repair it?

if headunit not started than nothing help you
