Ok. It is working. However Bluetooth and Wlan are off, it needs the igniation on.

How I can make the mib2 to think that ignation is on. Is there a CAN message I can send.

I don't care much about the current firmware on the unit - Which is already navigation plus. If there is a firmware for the Audi A6 MIB2 with know telnet password that will be enough.

I get MIB2 with Navigation Plus. Version: MHI2_US_AU57x_P3317. I want to dump the firmware in order to get the dec encrypted password in file efs-system.img, so I can the decryption password to get access to the telnet. I dont mind tearing down the unit and doing some desoldering ...

Just in order not to mislead anyone, the combination of the listed parts in the original post did not work.

Done. Took 2 weeks to learn it from scratch.

Now: How to telnet into it?

I am going to buy 4G0035736 usb socket and DLink DUB-E100, However I am not sure about getting access.

Many Thanks for your replay. I need to read and log the CAN bus to check the messages between the central unit and the display. How Should be the wiring done as well.

Can I over listen to the CAN commands between the display and the central unit through CAN to UART converter and check it out by PUTTY?

Or do I have to wire one of the two sets of (9+3) pins in the main board as in the attached image?
