There is no VCP ZDC-file or something else, which is able to activate the EU 3G UMTS Modes with an US version of the Telit or AH6 phone modul in the MMI.
The US modules are unable to handle this frequencies and modes in EU. You have to change the phone hardware as descriped in this thread ...

recently I bought 2016 q5 2.0 tfsi with MMI 3g+, equipped with umts modem. Unfortunately for USA region modem is not capable to receive proper 3g connection and stays on 2g. I´ve managed to get telit uc864-e EU version of that modem and switch it in MMI main device, but unfortunately it needs ...

With vag can pro you can set the umts values for the eu. There is a zdc file for the telephony gain settings. After that the unit will connect to umts 3g Any comment is appreciated, specially concerning zdc file and where to get it ...
