Can you elaborate more about how to proceed with VCP ?
EEPROM change? Whole or just few bites/bytes?

You need a vac can pro cable, if you do not want to solder in the unit.
With that you can set the language to the european ones.
This worked for me.

Hi!

I would like to ask you for help.

In my Q5 I recently did an firmware update on MMI 3GP SIM from US FW P0715 to EU FW K0767 .
The update went well, but after reboot all text string went away and can not see anything.
I realzed that propably is problem of the eeprom which is trying to allocate languages prompts/string in diffrent location that previously on US navi.

In green menu it shows right now 767 version. Radio works, bluetooth connection for phone and music works, I can see MMI icons, only text is missing :upset: .

So can you advise how to flash eeprom?
Can I do it with a script?
Can I do it via cable?
If it requires pulling out eeprom form navi can I revert to US FW by simply installing again K0715?
How to change radio frequency?
