A question I have About Google icon in the monitor.
Even if Google Earth is working well I do not see tha icon of "Google 3G" in the bottom right corner of MMI.
Is it possibile to insert it?

I'm trying to use sergeynik script but I cannot change the resolv.conf if I use the command "echo nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > /mnt/efs-system/etc/resolv.conf" from run.sh.

Do I need to create another script and upload it to /mnt/efs-system/scripts and then using sergeynik run.sh just touch that file to run it?

Maybe the trick is the value of channel 69.
Yesterday I compared my value with the value of a friend of mine who has unit 670 and then he has the Google icon.

Ma value of channel 69: 32783 (bit 0, 1, 2, 3, 15 setted);
My friend: 32776 (bit 3, 15 setted);

So I have bit 0, 1, 2 setted while my friend not.
How is the meaning of these bits?
Do I have to deselect them?

I have HW 670 (build in sim card) - my channel 69 has value 32783 - but before I had there value 15 then no traffic online menu.but before even value was 15 I had google icon also so I dont think so its related with this icon

can you tell me yours bit setted? can you show me your screenshots? I dont know where shall I looking for - as I wrote in adaptation I am able to set value only

In adaptation 10 there are 255 channels and for each channel you can set a value.
You cannot set each bit but you can set only a value which you can image as composed by different bit.
So as sergey wrote, to set bit 15 means +32768.
Only few persons knows the meaning of each bit and Sergey is one of these.
I'd like to add Google icon to bottom right corner and I don't know how to do it.

I am asking about range cause I want to set diffrent values for solve my issue with traffic online

I have managed to get the head online. no google icon on the right bottom corner of the MMI, but everything else works as expected.
Big thanks to Sergey and Spinmar for the knowledge and for sharing.
@Spinmar have you managed to change the adapter speed to 100Mbit, not that it will make any difference in performance, as the bottleneck here is the 3G connection, but just curios if you did and how.

I am using:
-DLINK adapter DUB-E 100 ver B1 for USB -> LAN converter
-Vonets VAR11N as WISP client
-2 Ports USB adapter to duplicate the port of the AUDI USB Cable.

I had tried also the Gembird NIC-U1 as USB -> LAN converter but i snot recognised by the head.

How did you get the Google icon to work?

Hi jlukas the trick is in the submenu telephony of the hidden menu: you have to set Nad activation and nad operation mode.
Try it and magically Google icon will be shown.
Remember to restart mmi
